In recognition of National Nursing Home Week, Mayor Terry Oliver visited The Blossoms and Hillcrest Care and Rehab Facilities on May 11, 2026, to honor residents, staff, and caregivers who make a difference daily.
At The Blossoms, residents, staff, and guests gathered outside for a balloon release, along with refreshments and fellowship, celebrating caring for our senior community. Thanks to all who participated and made the day meaningful.
At Hillcrest, Mayor Oliver read a proclamation for National Nursing Home Week and recognized staff dedication. Dr. Young received a gift for his service. The event ended with a balloon release, emphasizing unity and gratitude.
