March Employee Recognized

Employee Recognition – Charles “Bubba” Ledbetter

Mayor Terry Oliver recently recognized Charles “Bubba” Ledbetter for his quick thinking and willingness to step in during an emergency. Bubba assisted a county employee by performing chest compressions until emergency medical personnel arrived, showing courage, compassion, and a true commitment to helping others when it mattered most.

Bubba has faithfully served the City of Prescott in the Water Department since 1995, dedicating more than 31 years of service as a valued civil servant to our community. Throughout his career, he has been known for his strong work ethic and consistent dedication to his work.

In 2012, Bubba was honored as Employee of the Year for his outstanding work as a Maintenance Foreman and Plumbing Inspector. He has received this recognition twice during his time with the city.

Bubba takes great pride in serving the people of our community and ensuring that Prescott’s water system continues to operate safely and efficiently.

He shared, “One of the things I like most about the job is that I’m always discovering something new every day. The job is definitely not boring—there are always different challenges to solve.”

We appreciate all that Bubba does and truly value his many years of dedication to the City of Prescott. His commitment to serving others reflects the very best of our community. 👏🇺🇸
