Revitalize your Town

Mayor of Prescott, Terry Oliver, along with his wife Julie Oliver, Economic Development Director Mary Godwin, and several Prescott community leaders recently received information and training on ways to help revitalize our town.

Here are three simple ways to get started:

  1. Invest in and restore buildings. Community members can work together to improve and rebuild run-down properties. Creating safe, accessible infrastructure is key to building a thriving neighborhood.

  2. Adopt an area downtown. Groups or individuals can take pride in a specific space by helping clean, paint, and plant flowers or greenery. Small improvements make a big difference and help create a welcoming atmosphere.

  3. Support local businesses. Shopping locally and encouraging others to do the same is a powerful way to strengthen the community. Advocating for resources that help small businesses succeed keeps neighborhoods vibrant and growing.

Together, these efforts can make a lasting impact and help Prescott continue moving forward. 🌱🏘️✨
